Job Description

As an Account Manager for Constant Contact, the primary responsibilities involve building and maintaining client relationships to comprehend their business goals, providing support to optimise their software usage to foster retention rates, conducting industry and business analysis to pinpoint areas for added value, and overseeing financial aspects of client accounts such as budgeting, invoicing, and ensuring timely payments.

Day-to-day Duties

Four (4) primary responsibilities:

  1. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
  2. Responsible for servicing client’s needs and assisting them in optimizing their software to foster retention rates.
  3. Analysing the client's industry and business to identify areas where the company's products or services can provide additional value.
  4. Responsible for managing the financial aspects of client accounts. This includes budgeting, invoicing, and ensuring that payments are received on time.

 

When it comes to day-to-day duties typically include:

  • Understanding the client's needs, goals, and expectations.
  • Regular communication to ensure that the client is satisfied with the products or services and to address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Communicate the product vision, roadmap, and updates to clients in a clear and compelling manner, fostering transparency and trust.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services that align with the client's needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, and stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.

 

Successful candidates shall possess:

  • Proven experience in product management and client relationship management.
