Digital Marketing Specialist

Own a portfolio of regional client accounts from strategy through to execution and reporting. You're responsible for two things: Execution, retention and growth of current accounts, and ensure quality of deliverables are met.

Job Description

You own the relationship with a group of brands across Malaysia, Singapore and the wider ASEAN region. They bring commercial targets. You turn those into a digital strategy and lead the plan that hits them. Delivery runs through integrated campaigns on paid social, search, organic social, email and CRM, SEO and web. You brief our creative, content and development teams, and you work inside the ad platforms yourself when the campaign needs it. Several brands and markets run at the same time, so the job needs the commercial judgement to decide which one gets your time.

Day-to-day Duties

Four (4) primary responsibilities:

  1. Own and grow client accounts. You lead the relationship, set the roadmap, and hold the scope and fee conversations with the client.
  2. Plan and run campaigns across paid, organic social, CRM, SEO and web, adjusted for how each market actually behaves.
  3. Own the tracking. Read the numbers, work out what they mean, and hand the client a recommendation they can act on.
  4. Lead the work internally. Brief the specialist teams, keep delivery on schedule, and check the output before it goes live.

Day-to-day, the work looks like this:

  • Take a client's business objective and turn it into a scoped plan of work with a sequence and a deadline.
  • Build annual, monthly and campaign-level roadmaps across several brands, then defend them when priorities shift.
  • Manage scope, timelines and budgets, flag risks before they become problems, and negotiate changes with the client.
  • Spot growth within existing accounts and write the proposal that wins it.
  • Plan, set up and optimise paid campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • Set organic content pillars, calendars and platform strategy for each market.
  • Write monthly reports that open with the insight and the recommendation, not the numbers.
  • Run weekly and monthly client calls, WIPs and performance presentations.
  • Write briefs for content, design, video and development teams that are complete enough to work from without a follow-up call.
  • Check output against brand guidelines and current platform practice before it goes live.
  • Stay across platform changes, algorithm shifts and new AI tools as they land.
  • Run keyword and competitor research and brief SEO content off the back of it.
  • Brief landing pages and funnels to design and development, then iterate on the results.
  • Set up and maintain tracking: GA4, Meta Pixel and CAPI, TikTok Pixel, GTM, UTM governance.
  • Monitor CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, CAC, LTV, engagement rate, organic sessions and conversion rate.
  • Run A/B tests on creative, copy, audiences and landing pages.

Successful candidates shall possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or a related field. Equivalent working experience counts.
  • At least 3 years in digital marketing, preferably agency-side, running more than one brand at a time
  • A record of owning the client relationship. Someone else writing the brief and you executing it does not count.
  • Hands-on skill in at least three of: paid social, paid search, organic social, CRM and email, SEO, landing pages and CRO
  • Working knowledge of tracking and analytics. You can install a pixel and read a GA4 report without asking anyone.
  • The ability to explain why a given channel mix suits a given objective. A schedule is not a strategy.
  • Written and spoken English good enough to present to clients and hold a difficult conversation without it going sideways
  • Sound project and time management, and the habit of reading up when the platform changes under you

Added value
Extra weight for candidates who have run ads on Google and TikTok as well as Meta, used marketing automation or CRM software, SEO tools such as SEMrush, and AI in day-to-day marketing work, including GEO, AEO and AI-driven search. Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications also count.
